GREG BAKER
Owner/Accountable Manager
Greg earned his FAA Airframe license in 1998 after serving eight years in the U.S. Army, where he worked as a Nuclear Missile Guidance and Control Systems Repairer and later as an Avionics Technician.
He began his civilian career at an FAA-approved MRO repair station in Florida, working on large transport aircraft. Early on, Greg was known for going beyond expectations—often spending hours after his shift, unpaid, to deepen his understanding of avionics systems. That commitment quickly advanced him from entry-level technician to Assistant Manager, and ultimately Manager of the Avionics Department.
Over time, Greg gained experience across the full spectrum of aviation, from heavy aircraft to Part 23. It was in general aviation where he found his true passion. Working closely with aircraft owners, understanding how they use their aircraft, and seeing the direct impact of his work gave him a deeper sense of purpose.
Greg believes avionics shouldn’t be “sold”—they should be understood. His approach is to educate customers, walk through options clearly, and explain the real-world pros and cons so owners can make informed decisions with confidence.
Outside the shop, Greg enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He’s most at home outdoors—fishing, rafting, hiking, and camping.

LEAH BAKER
Co-Owner/Administrative Director
Leah Baker serves as Co-Owner and Administrative Director of Baker Avionics, overseeing the operational and administrative side of the company. Recognizing Greg Baker’s extensive avionics experience and lifelong aviation background, she helped build the foundation that transformed Baker Avionics into a growing FAA Certified Repair Station serving both fixed-wing and helicopter operators.
Leah manages day-to-day business operations, including customer and vendor relations, human resources, insurance coordination, regulatory administration, and internal business systems. She has played a key role in developing the structure and processes that support the company’s continued growth and operational efficiency.
She has also led the development of the Baker Avionics brand, including the company website, marketing initiatives, and creative direction. Her work continues to support new business initiatives, including the company’s expanding online presence and CAD Panels division.
Leah comes from an aviation family with roots tracing back to her grandfather, an Alaskan bush pilot. Outside of work, she enjoys camping, fishing, gardening, and spending time outdoors with her family.

GOOD WORKPLACE CULTURE IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO US.
We foster and empower each and every one on the team to make decisions, and we all hold each other accountable. Each one of us is crucial to the success at Baker Avionics.

His experience, reliability, and technical depth play a critical role in keeping projects moving and ensuring quality across the shop.

Her organization and attention to detail help keep projects moving efficiently and ensure a smooth experience for every customer from start to finish.

IN LOVING MEMORY
Isaiah Baker - 12/15/2005 - 9/26/2020
Isaiah, Greg and Leah’s youngest son, was part of Baker Avionics from the very beginning. He played an important role in getting the business off the ground, taking pride in helping organize and build out the parts room and supporting the team wherever he could.
In 2020, during a difficult and uncertain time, Isaiah passed away unexpectedly. His loss has left a lasting impact on our family and our business, and he is deeply missed every day.
Isaiah had a kind heart and a genuine spirit that touched many people. We believe he would be proud of what Baker Avionics has become, and we carry his memory with us in everything we continue to build.
In a world that often moves too fast, his memory is a reminder to be patient, to be kind, and to take care of one another—especially the younger generation finding their way.
Isaiah 25:8 He will swallow up death forever and the
Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.
